Our Co-Mediation Team.

“Could a greater miracle take place than for us to look through each other’s eyes for an instant?”
– Henry David Thoreau

The Mediation Group (TMG) encompasses other mediation professionals who assist in co-mediations.

A co-mediation is when there are two experienced and qualified mediators in the room assisting and supporting the mediation process. This is typically best practice and used frequently at TMG.

Co-mediations at The Mediation Group are typically used for Divorce and Family Mediation, Child Focused/Informed Mediation and Property Mediation. If you require other services provided by TMG including Communication Coaching, Couple Coaching and Pre-Mediation Coaching, these will all be conducted by Kate White and won’t include a second professional.

Meet Our Co-Mediators.

Gretta McNamara

Gretta’s background is in law, having gained invaluable experience as a Family Law Solicitor in Sydney’s CBD. Whilst working as a Family Lawyer, Gretta became passionate about encouraging parents to attempt to resolve their disputes outside of Court as she saw first hand the toll, both emotional and financial, that long and drawn out court proceedings took on parents, only to see both parents unhappy with being dictated to by the Court at the end of it.

Gretta is a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner who brings her extensive legal knowledge together with her empathetic, warm and professional approach in order to facilitate conversations and encourage the parties to reach agreements that are reasonable and sustainable.
